Our first product revolutionized the AI companion space, scaling to 6 million+ users and earning recognition from TechCrunch as "the future" in 2023. We were the first AI companion to perform system tasks, read screens, and play games with users — pioneering multi-lingual, multi-modal AI agents that could see, hear, talk, and exist across devices and even AR/VR.
But here's what we learned: even with millions of users and groundbreaking tech, distribution remains the hardest problem.
We built HeyOz because we've lived through the pain of being builders who had to become marketers. Now we're using that experience to solve distribution for every builder out there. HeyOz is an AI-powered ads creation platform where users can create static ads, AI UGC, carousels, long-form b-roll videos, and more.
The Role
We're looking for someone who has actually done this before — not managed an influencer spreadsheet, but built a real growth flywheel using influencers, UGC, organic content, and platform discoverability mechanics.
You've scaled a consumer product, a SaaS tool, a creator platform, or something adjacent in the last two to three years — and you understand the difference between vanity metrics and growth that compounds. You know how TikTok's algorithm rewards certain posting behaviors. You know which creator archetypes drive sign-ups versus just views. You know how to get a product to show up when someone searches for it on Instagram, YouTube, or TikTok — without paying for every click.

What You'll Do
Build and own HeyOz's influencer and organic growth strategy end-to-end
Identify, recruit, and manage a portfolio of creators — from nano influencers to mid-tier — across TikTok, Instagram, YouTube Shorts, and X
Develop UGC programs that generate authentic, high-converting content at scale
Engineer discoverability: hashtag strategy, SEO on social platforms, keyword-optimized profiles and captions, and Reels/Shorts/TikTok metadata optimization
Run ambassador and affiliate programs that turn happy users and creators into ongoing distribution channels
Work closely with the creative and product teams to turn platform features into viral-ready content hooks
Test systematically — track what drives installs, sign-ups, and trials, not just engagement
Build organic content calendars that complement paid campaigns and reduce blended CAC
What You Bring
Demonstrated track record of scaling a consumer product, SaaS, creator tool, or marketing platform through influencer and organic channels — in the last 1–3 years
Deep understanding of how growth works on TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and X — not just how to post, but how the algorithm rewards content and surfaces it to new audiences
Experience building UGC programs: briefing creators, collecting content, repurposing it, and turning it into a compounding asset
Knowledge of social search and discoverability mechanics — how people find products organically on social platforms and how to engineer that
Hands-on experience managing creator relationships — outreach, negotiation, contracting, and performance tracking
Strong creative instincts — you can spot a winning hook, a scroll-stopping format, and a creator who actually fits a brand before the data confirms it
Analytical enough to know what's working and honest enough to kill what isn't
